Steps

Google Sheets Trigger on Row Added in a To code tab.
Google Sheets → Get Rows from a Chart of accounts tab.
OpenAI: give it the description, amount, and chart of accounts, and ask for JSON {account, confidence, reason}.
Google Sheets → Update Row with the suggestion. Rows below 0.8 confidence get highlighted for review.

Treat the GL codes as suggestions only. A person approves each code before anything is posted.

Steps are based on the vendor docs as of Oct 2026; verify module names in your account. Apps rename triggers and actions sometimes. Try it with test data or a sandbox company first.
